Panty and Stocking in Their Season 2 Redesign

After 15 years of the hiatus of the original anime series, last few years ago it was announced for a second season of the show, titled "New Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt" or "Panty and Stocking With Garterbelt: The Second Season". After the last episode of the original series in the end of the episode with the message saying "To be continued, the next season".

Studio Trigger will also produce the second season of the series, which is set to premiere in 2025. It is unknown if they will continue the story after the events of this episode, although judging from a teaser trailer for the season, which includes all of Panty's pieces being brought together to reform her, it is likely that they will. Another teaser trailer includes Panty saying "Stocking! Die!", further implying the continuation of the story after this episode.
